Entertainment, the agency that has gifted the globe with top artists
such as BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, and f(x) will be holding
large-scale auditions all over the world in search of their next idol
group.
The auditions will take place from January 7th 2012
through March 24th. In three months’ time, SM Entertainment will travel
to fifteen different cities in China, the US, Canada, Japan as well as
Korea in search of those who dream of becoming the next K-POP star.
The 2012
SM Global Auditions will begin in Busan on January 7th, and will
continue in Daegu (January 8th), Daejun (January 14th), Gwangju (January
15th), Seoul (January 28 & 29), and will carry over to China and
the United States in February. The auditions will also hit Canada and
Japan for the month of March.
The auditions are expected
to cause quite the buzz in neighboring Japan, as well as be met with an
explosive response from thousands of international hopefuls, as SM
artists have been developing strong fans bases worldwide, including
Europe and South America.
Anyone can audition regardless of
nationality, gender, or age, and the selected few will earn themselves
an opportunity to sign a contract with SM Entertainment. SM will also be
100% responsible for the various expenses associated with a debut.
